Outside studio one, the melody of Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty Waltz can be heard. Budding ballerinas pirouette and jete across the specially constructed sprung dance floor. The music in studio two is mixed with the laughter of pre-schoolers as they learn the basics of movement. Follow that salsa beat down the hall to studio three where the latest in jazz and street dance keeps things hopping. This is The Dance Center of Colorado Springs.

For over twenty-five years The Dance Center of Colorado Springs has offered the finest in dance education to area families. Experienced professional instructors share their expertise and creativity in a wide range of dance forms-- ballet, jazz, modern, tap, acro and hip-hop. Dance Center students participate in a variety of performance opportunities culminating in an annual production at the Pikes Peak Center. Many of the students will pursue careers as performers and teachers. Most dance for the sheer joy of it!
